John Oddo. When singer Rosemary Clooney recorded a record with the Woody Herman orchestra over 20 years ago, the orchestrations were made by Herman’s pianist John Oddo. He wrote his arrangements for Herman on the bus, so the move to miss Clooney came to him as a breath of fresh air. They worked together up until her final performance. All the same, John Oddo is still known as a big band arranger.
