Composer: Langenberg

CDs by Fred McDowell (USA), Stephan Langenberg (Germany), Daby Touré & Ship McDonald (Mauritania / USA).

Fred McDowell.
These are the first recordings made of Fred McDowell, long before "Mississippi" was added to his artist name and long before the Rolling Stones interpreted his "You gotta move". It is the sound that Fred McDowell used to play on his porch and at picknicks. With his family and friends. Sometimes for money, but always for fun.

Daby Touré ....jpgDaby Touré & Ship McDonald.
At the moment they met, they knew eachother. Guitar player and singer Daby Touré grew up in Mauritania, West Africa and he is currently a star at stages in France. After he met with Ship McDonald for the first time, both men immediately felt a musical connection with eachother. They play exciting and catchy African pop. Daby Touré’s lyrics are both personal as well as political and they are being sung in English and in various African languages.
