1/ Mano Chao sings in many languages: French, Spanish, Arabic, English etc. He was born in Paris to Spanish parents who had fled the Franco regime. He is very popular in (Latin) Europe and Latin America. La Radiolina is his third internationally released solo album.

2/ Tres-Dos is a seven headed Latin-jazz group from Los Angeles, led by percussionist/singer Rod Rozzelle and pianist/composer Raina Rozzelle. Tres-Dos has been generally recognized for their dynamic mix between Latin Jazz and Afro Cuban rhythms.

3/ Alberto Naranjo, composer and arranger, drummer, percussionist, bandleader, radio DJ, music teacher and writer (born in Venezuela on 14 September 1941). During his long career he worked with legends like Tito Puente, Celia Cruz and many others. On this CD Alberto Naranjo plays together with many other, also Venezuelian musicians.

4/ Che Sudaka is a band with a mission. A band that views itself as a medium for the collective consciousness. Their music is a weapon in a nonviolent battle for a caring society. Che found his musical roots in the South American culture and in legendary bands like The Clash, Mano Negra and Los Fabulosos Cadillacs.

5/ Guitar virtuoso, multi instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer Djamel Laroussi was the first North African that was accepted to the prestigious "Music University of Koln". The music of the Algerian Djamel Laroussi (from the region Kabylië) shows a deep understanding for the western sounds of jazz, rock and Latin rhythms.

6/ Bambay Gueej (Bamba, Ocean of Peace) is Cheikh Lô’s continuation to his much-praised debut albumNe La Thiass from 1996. He based Bambay Gueej on the sounds of Burkina Faso, Mali and Congo and added influences from Cuba, reggae and African funk. The nine songs on this CD were co-produced by Youssou N’Dour and were recorded in Dakar, Havana and London.
