The Rough Guide, once only known as travel guide for the backpacker, has grown into a dynamic company and has – also in terms of music – a large and varied offer of world music from all corners of the world. They release compilation CDs where they selected the best music available at that time from the country or subject in question. In this way they contribute in bringing world music to the attention.
