In this warm summer night it is all about Soukous.
Soukous is a specific dance style that was very popular in the sixties in Congo-Kinshasa and Congo-Brazzaville. It is best described as a quick form of the rumba.
You will hear i.a. Tabu Ley Rochereau, Franco Orchestre O.K. Jazz, Mose Fan Fan.
We will conclude with something very different, namely the latest CD of the Malian kora player Sekou Kouyate.
