Tori Freestone
The English tenor saxophone player Tori Freestone (St Pancras, London) based herself on the scenery of the Canaries for the majority of the pieces on her third CD with her trio El Mar de Nubes. In her opinion, her choice for the trio format is a reaction to her participation in larger bands. She claims that a trio allows for a greater openness than bigger bands.
