The Big Sound

At Amsterdam’s Paradiso, on November 18, 1970 keyboardist and composer Sun Ra’s Intergalactic Research Arkestra performed in the Netherlands for the first time. This was truly a sensational performance. Recently, the radio recordings of that spectacle were rediscovered, and the Dutch Jazz Archive has released them.
