The French accordionist/composer Jacques Pellarin has often dipped his toes in the pool of Jazz and Music Hall, but on this album, Back to Philidephia, he shows he is also capable of giving an latin flavour to the Bossa nova, Samba and Jazz. It is remeniscint of the equally technically able Dutch accordionist, Johnny Meyer.
