Guitarist Jan Wouter Oostenrijk released his new record We Are Connected on 26 May 2017. On this album, he lets his unique ‘quartertone’ guitar do the talking. The talented musician uses elements from North African music and mixes them with progressive rock. Tammorra is a Sicilian band founded in Palermo in 1992. The five musicians interpret the traditions of Southern Italy and the Mediterranean. They combine traditionals and contemporary instruments with an elaborate array of rhythms, sounds and polyphonic vocals. The focus of the band is on creating their own music in Sicilian dialect and blending the diversities and strong personalities of its members. Elemotho released his 1st album ‘My Africa’ in 2013 at ARC Music . His musical star has been rising ever since. He is not only known for his musicality, but also for supporting Namibian charities like ‘Save The Rhino Trust’, for which he campaigned by gifting musical revenue, and for openly voicing his political opinions.
