Michel Banabila is an internationally appreciated Dutch producer and composer. He fuses jazz, electronic and classical music to an original whole. In addition to regular musical instruments Banabila uses a variety of experimental techniques to create his music. This desire for experimentation doesn’t get in the way of the music’s accessibility. Banabila’s cooperation with trumpet player Eric Vloeimans on the album VoizNoiz from 2002, was awarded an Edison and was nominated for a Golden Calf, the most important Dutch film award. Banabila’s music is also regularly used in films, documentaries and dance and theatre productions.
