Charles Ives. Episode XII: Ode to Ives.
The American composer Charles Ives lived from 1874 to 1954. During his life, his works were hardly performed by anyone. However, nowadays, he is considered to be the first American composer of international stature. In today’s episode, you will hear several odes paid to Ives by other composers.
