Music by 20th-century composers: Bela Bartok (VII)
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the death of Béla Bartók. Together with Franz Liszt, he is considered the most important Hungarian composer. Bartók was one of the key figures in the classical music of the previous century, but he was also important for Hungarian folk music. Every first Thursday of the month, his music can be heard on the Concertzender.
