Skriabin and Szymanowski.
Today, in The Last Century, we travel to the turbulent first ten years of the 20th century. It was a time of new paths in the political, cultural and also musical fields, among others.
In this broadcast, we will be focusing on two composers who tried, in similar ways, to give musical expression to strong inner, sometimes ecstatic, feelings: Alexander Skriabin and Karol Szymanowski with Prométhée, le poème du feu and the Third Symphony respectively. As an encore: Piana Sonata No. 9 by Skriabin
