Music by 20th-century composers.
The unknown Ravel – part 5. Transcriptions for 2 pianos.
This is the fifth instalment in a series on the music of Maurice Ravel, particularly his lesser-known compositions. Today, all of them are works for two pianos. Most are transcriptions of orchestral works that Ravel wrote himself, the Rapsodie Espagnole being the exception. This work originally appeared in a version for two pianos.
