Preßburger Klezmer Band is the leading representative of ethno / world music genre and at the same time the first Klezmer band in Slovakia. The Band was created in 1995, since then they have regularly performed live in Europe and Slovakia.

Her music may be based on the scales and modes of the traditional Arabic maqam, but there are echoes of everything from jazz to flamenco here, and the backing is equally inventive, with thoughtful cello work from Barney Morse-Brown matched against incisive oud and hand percussion.

TAJNO BIAV (“Secret Marriage”) is the name of the second release of the Polish-Ukrainian group Čači Vorba. And it does sound like a secret gypsy wedding – cheerful dance music, melancholic love songs and wistful a cappella ballads, arranged in a virtuoso manner and presented on the highest musical level.

Not merely an ace lutenist, Morrocan oud virtuoso Driss El Maloumi is an erudite, creative, highly flexible musician.
On Makan he presents his own compositions, played by an unusual trio.
His colleagues both play various hand drums.
