Omar Sosa & Yilian Cañizares.
Pianist Omar Sosa and violinist-singer Yilian Cañizares have come together to record the album Aguas. With their compatriot, percussionist Inor Sotolongo, Aguas reflects the perspectives of two generations of Cuban artists living outside their home country who interpret their roots and traditions in a subtle and unique way. The songs vary from poignant to exuberant and are expressive for the exceptional musical chemistry and poetic sensitivities. Because ‘Agua’ (water) is synonymous with life, energy, power and space, the music of the album is inspired by the important influences of water: the hidden powers, the infinite transmutations …

Kasahwa: Early Singles by Stella Chiweshe.
A collection of early singles by the famous Zimbabwean Mbira master and a real African music icon, Stella Chiweshe. The songs were mostly recorded in the 1970s, during the construction of the ‘Chimurenga’ revolution, and were only ever released in the home country of Stella. Her album Kasahwa: Early Singles offers a fascinating introduction to the world of ‘Mbira’, with the term not only related to the instrument, but also to a musical genre – and on a much broader level, to an entire culture and a deeply spiritual lifestyle at the core of the young Zimbabwean nation.

Dos Gigantes de la Musica Cubana by Eliades Ochoa & Alejandro Almenares.
This is one of the best instrumental CDs in the genre. Two of the Cuban giant veteran guitarist; Eliades Ochoa & Alejandro Almenares join this wonderful recording. The boss of the label ‘Tumi’, Mo Fini had the brilliant idea to bring together two of the great survivors of the Cuban music of the 20th century at the end of 2015 in the studio, to put a group of skilled guides around it and to ensure that everything was recorded in optimal quality and the rest came naturally. Of course, that had everything to do with the personality of the two older gentlemen: the masterful guitarist Eliades Ochoa is almost the last survivor of the ‘Buena Vista Social Club’, and Alejandro Almenares who received the guitar playing from his father Angel Almenares , who stood at the cradle of the founding of the ‘Casa de Trova’.
