Attention is paid to Carol Sloane (1937-2023), Jasperina de Jong yearning for classical music, ‘the little man with the big voice’ Joseph Schmidt on tour in the United States, and the brothers Ernie & Camilio Caceres with ‘Humoresque in Swing Time’.
Also featured is the originally Yiddish ‘Yossel, Yossel’ as ‘Joseph Joseph’ by Johnny & Jones and by the orchestra of Russ Morgan.
