In “The Wayward Prokofiev,” an hour of attention is given every two weeks to the life and work of the Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev, undoubtedly one of the greatest composers of the 20th century. Today: catching up on Prokofiev’s work from 1941 with an adapted orchestral suite from the opera Semyon Kotko and the piano suite by the fleeing Miezcslaw Weinberg from 1940.
