During ‘the wayward Prokofiev’ we focus our attention on Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev for one hour every two weeks. Prokofiev was without a doubt one of the biggest composers of the 20th century.
In today’s episode: a patriotic cantata, a violin piece for conservatory students, and his final opera, which, despite good intentions, did not appeal to the Ministry of Culture.
