Piano lions in Paris.
In the 1830s Paris was the true Valhalla of piano music. Nowhere were such fine and advanced pianos made, and this attracted the greatest pianists and composers. The programme Time Signal highlights four composers who distinguished themselves through their compositions for the piano: Chopin, Hiller, Liszt and Mendelssohn.
