The U-jazz foundation, which is short for Utrecht-jazz, organizes small-scale concerts every friday night, the so called ‘Panorama Cloud Nights’ in Cloud Nine at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht.
You will hear three pieces, recorded on 12 February 2016, of the concert by the Feenbrothers, consisting of Paul (saxophone), Clemens (bass), Marc (piano) and Matthijs (drums) van der Feen. They respectively played: ‘The Duke’, ‘In your own sweet way’ and ‘Blue Rondo à la Turk’. Next we will play recordings of the concert by the Michiel Buursen Trio with singer JD Walters, as part of the same series.
