D’Indy followed the examples of great composers mainly from the German music world. This is to say, composers from Beethoven to Richard Strauss. Orchestre de Bretagne conducted by Lionel Bringuier.

  1. D’ Indy. Istar, Symphonic Variations, opus 42.
  2. D’Indy. Fervaal, Prelude to the 1st Act (encore).

Royal Scottish National Orchestra conducted by Jean-Luc Tingaud.
