1- Alec Kopyt.
He was born in Odessa, USSR in 1959. In his early youth he became involved in the vibrant music scene, prominent in that city in the 1970s. His uncle Moishe, a drummer, taught Alec the tricks of the trade. After taking some accordion lessons in his early teens, he traveled the world, on Moishe’s advice, and ended up, many years later, in Amsterdam. Since 2001, Alec has been a member of the Amsterdam Klezmer Band as a singer, percussionist and accordionist.

Amsterdam Klezmer Band.
The band was founded in 1996 by saxophonist Job Chajes and started as a group of street musicians playing traditional Yiddish music. During all this time, the band managed to stay on the radar non-stop and toured all over the world. Their impressive tour list now includes more than 1000 shows. They’ve built an audience of connoisseurs who have loved them for years, and more and more young audiences are joining them.

Mazzeltov.
Plays Klezmer, subdued songs from Eastern Europe, Yiddish arrangements of contemporary music, Balkan and Gypsy music and Sephardic Jewish songs from the Mediterranean. In the current line-up, singer Rolinha Kross has a central role. She takes the group by the hand with her liveliness and steals the hearts of the audience with her voice and her warm personality.

Kroke.

Nigel Kennedy & trio Kroke.
Nigel is one of the most important violinists England has produced. This protégé of Yehudi Menuhin is praised for his virtuoso technique, great musicality and popularity in both the classical and popular music world. In Krakow Nigel Kennedy met the trio Kroke. Kroke plays modern self-composed works inspired by authentic klezmer, Arabic and gypsy music.
