Simentera is a band with 11 performers that plays acoustic songs, for which different band members alternate in singing. 
Marta Gomez, a young Colombian singer-songwriter who scored high on the year lists of world music reviewers last year.
Feelgood music by Dutch band Kara Dara. On this CD, the musicians manage to interweave their Surinamese or various African backgrounds with western influences in an exciting way. 
Blitz the Ambassador, a young musician from Ghana, who combines music from his youth in Ghana with hiphop from the Bronx. One of highlights of the past year.
