Tribute to Behsat Üvez
Steven Kamperman is in our studio to look back on the musical career of Behsat Üvez.
Behsat Üvez was, together with Steven Kamperman, founder and moving force of Baraná, who gave a wonderful concert as presentation of their new album ‘Elektro Shaman’ at the Bimhuis in Amsterdam on 9 February.
Behsat Üvez was not able to be there, because he was weakened by his illness. He died at the age of 53 on Friday 22 February 2013 at 15:45.
A lot of music by Barana will be explained by Steven Kamperman. You hear i.a. tracks of the CDs Barana & Co, Gül ve Bülbül, Ileriye Anitar, Elektro Shaman, but also recordings made by the Concertzender at a live concert in Alkmaar on 27 May 2012.
