In this episode, a portrait of music which was put on records by Americans and listened to in a time before the hegemony of the music industry. When the small record companies shot up like mushrooms and disappeared as quickly as they started.
None of these songs were a hit, it are forgotten gems from the twenties when genres were not as clearly defined as now. Blues artists also made Hawaiian and Hillbilly music and vice versa. The fans of these music will be happy from Saturday 7 April with a series of five episodes with Hillbilly, Blues and Folk from the 20s to the early 50s.
