Groovy Asia.
Music from Asia doesn’t exactly associate with danceable music. Danceable in Western eyes though, because the meaning of this term is clearly culturally defined. Anyway, images of swinging Japanese or Chinese people do not appear easily in our mind. Of course they do dance, that is a part of our genetic settings and a part of our being (although politicians of our time probably don’t agree)
In this episode ‘groovy’ music from the East, like flowing mholam from Thailand, funky Bollywood, Zappa-like rhythms from Myanmar and more.
