In this episode of World Minerals we will put out our radio antenna to India. The musicians of India have absorbed all the music styles in the world and mixed these with an endless amount of Indian styles. You will hear a collage of Indian radio fragments … An endless attack of DJ’s, commercials, drama and music that forms a web of spectacular audio art. This collage is compiled out of many hours of radio recordings made and edited by Alan Bishop for the label Sublime Frequencies. Although an hour of World Minerals can only show a fraction of the total range of Indian music it is enough to stimulate the imagination and leave you bowled over. This is the sound of an endless dream.
