Recently the movie ‘I bring what I love’ by Youssou N’Dour has been released. Among other things it is about the resistance there was in their own country to the release of the album ‘Egypt’. It is a beautiful album that eventually won a Grammy award. Two songs from this album. Also from Senegal is the well known Orchestra Baobab, with music from their latest album ‘Made in Dakar’. From singer Sevara Nazarkhan from Uzbekistan some tracks of the album ‘Sen’ that released last year. From the Netherlands the Cape Verdean group Rabasa with their second album ‘Portucabo’. Finally Debashish Bhattacharya. He learned classic Indian music before he could read and write. At the age of four he gave his first concert. He chose the electric slide guitar that he converted with extra strings to a unique Indian instrument. Together with guitarist Bos Brozman he released the album ‘Mahima’.
