One of the most talented young violinists in Carnatic music, also known as South Indian raga music, is Charumathi Raghuraman. She was born in Mumba in 1987. Her knack for music was discovered at a young age, and it wasn’t long before she was taken in by legendary violinist T.N. Krishnan. Because she plays superbly, she often accompanies the best vocalists of Carnatic raga music and impresses as a soloist on stage.
