North African Power songs compiled by Hatim Suleiman
In this episode of World Minerals we will listen to a continious power mix of North African songs, probably inspired by the Morroccon song Inès inès and the Egyptian song Rabbak huwa el-aalem. Most of the songs have a strong native Touch and they were big hits of the last decades in different parts of the North African countries. Probably owe their success to the mix between the raw and native sound mixed with a somewhat modern musical instrumentation and production.
We start from Egypt and the Nubian voice of Ahmed Mounib, go along the Atlas mountains of Morocco, the oasis of Libya, the mountain passes and the streets of Algeria .. enjoy the journey!
