The duo Fadopelos2 consisting of Iris Feijen, who sings and Tiago Lageira, who plays the guitar, won in August of last year the Dutch singing competition ‘We want more’ with their fado song ‘Sei Um Rio’. At age thirteen, Iris heard music by Mariza, and at that moment she knew she wanted to become a fado singer. After years of singing lessons and studying music, she did it – and very successfully too. In the Netherlands, they had planned a musical theatre show, the date of the premiere keeps getting postponed because of the coronavirus. Keep an eye on their website: www.fadopelos2.com
