Past, Present & Future.
In the upcoming episodes, the ‘past’ segment will feature drummer Philly Joe Jones. This episode will feature the Miles Davis Quintet from 1956, featuring the first album recorded for Columbia Records, ‘Round About Midnight. The quintet comprises Miles Davis on trumpet, John Coltrane on tenor saxophone, Red Garland on piano, Paul Chambers on bass, and Philly Joe Jones on drums.
