Three programme makers bring their memories about the Concertzender to celebrate our 40th anniversary. On Monday 25th March you can hear the first of our special anniversary broadcasts.
This first edition is all about the first ten years of the Concertzender from 1984 to 1994. The speakers are Wijnand de Groot, Beatrijs Vissers and Leo Samama, hosted by Pauline Verburg. They describe the early years of the Concertzender. What was the motivation behind starting the Concertzender? What was it like making radio in the Icebreaker? What trends were there at that moment in the music world?
