Part 3 of our series 'A second chance for Hummel' is on Tuesday 10th March from 19.00 to 20.00 CET.
In ‘A second chance for Hummel’, programme maker and presenter Thijs Bonger journeys through Hummels life and selects the best works from his extensive oeuvre. In part 3, Hummel is still a young man and is working for the House of Esterhazy. During this period he composed a lot of vocal music that was of a high quality but inexplicably was rarely performed.
