Acoustic Moods on Friday 30 November 21.00 CET features Sanja Javor.
We recently met up with Sanja in the Duif in Amsterdam where she had organised a concert by the Bosinan singer Amira Medunjanin. She welcomed the public together with her brother and father. The Duif was packed and many people had arrived early and had queued outside for more than an hour to be sure of getting in.
The Acoustic Roots team was there to record the concert and to interview Amira for the programme that we will be broadcasting on 21 December. It was immediately clear to us that many of the audience were originally from Bosnia and everyone seemed to know one another. It was impressive to see how many people were in the Duif for Amira Medunjanin.
This was enough reason to invite Sanja to join us in Acoustic Moods and to talk with Ton Maas about her passion for music, the artists that inspire her and the concerts that she organises.
