On Sunday, October 12, the 24-year-old singer Tyreek McDole will take the stage in the BIMHUIS Vocal Jazz series.
This Haitian-American singer and rising star from New York has performed with renowned musicians such as trumpeter Theo Croker and saxophonist Gary Bartz. In 2023, he won the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition, the second male singer ever to do so. Previous winners of this prestigious award have also performed at BIMHUIS, including Cyrille Aimée and Jazzmeia Horn.
