Acoustic Moods on Friday 29th May 21:00 – 22:00 CET presents music from the Carnaval in Recife (in North-east Brazil). This is a people's festival and takes place primarily on the city streets and in this respect is similar to the Carnaval in LImburg.
Unlike the Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro, Carnaval in Recide has no pretentions. Music journalist Charlie Crooijmans went to Recife earlier this year for two completely different reasons, Porto Musical and Recbeat. During the programme she will explain all.
