Wednesday 13th November in Concertzender Live at 20:00 Rewire 2019.
The Rewire festival is held annually in Den Haag . Rewire presents an adventurous programme with contemporary electronic music, neoclassical music, new jazz, experimental pop, sound art and multidisciplinary collaboration.
The Concertzender made recordings every day of the festival in 2019. The Concertzender was in the Koorenhuis on 31st March. One of the performers was Pierre Bastien. Bastien performed the premiere of a new piece that was composed in collaboration with the duo Tomaga . Tomaga consists of Valentina Magaletti and Tom Relleen. You can hear the recording of that concert in Concertzender Live on Wednesday 13th November .
The Concertzender also made recordings on 29th March in the Lutherse Kerk in Den Haag of Astrid Sonne and the Tashi Wada Group. You can also hear both recordings on 13th November.
This first broadcast of recordings from Rewire 2019 is the precursor to the Rewire edition of 2020. In January 2020 there’ll be the second recordings which the Concertzender made during Rewire at the end of March 2019.
