Difficult Student XIII on Tuesday 4 January at 20:00 CET investigates the extent to which Beethoven was influenced by his role model Mozart, a man who in turn had learnt a lot from his great friend Haydn. The programme reveals how these influences can be heard in the development of that most-demanding of music genres, the string quartet.
