Programme maker Cassandra van Agt will be taking you over the next four Wednesdays to Futurism. She’ll be doing that in the programme Tussen Droom en Daad which will be broadcast every Wednesday between 18.00 and 19.00 . Futurism was
a short-lived movement in various areas of art with the premise that everything must be different. In music that meant broadly speaking music and noise are the same thing. What we now know is certainly worth hearing, think about Pacific 231 by Arthur Honegger or Ballet Mechanique by George Antheil. Cassandra van Agt has made a nice overview of it.
