The history of electronic music is featured on the Facebook page TheSonOfLuigi. The website aims to build a family tree with all descendants of Luigi Russolo – 1914 – as a tribute. You're invited to be part of his family!
This year we are celebrating the 1913 manifesto: 'The Art Of Noises' by Luigi Russolo.
1913/14 was the start of a new period of encountering music and sound.
Noise- and electronic instruments slowly became part of our musical environment.
A small group of specialists, musicians, writers, composers and teachers have now started the moving and interactive 'canon of electronic music'.
'The Son Of Luigi' aims to build a family tree with all descendants of Luigi Russolo as a tribute.
They will all be collected through this facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/TheSonOfLuigi.
You are invited to add your favourite musician/composer to the facebook page!
