The second edition of the Jazz Night Festival takes place in a number of cities in the Netherlands on Saturday 26 November. Bart Wirtz is playing in Tivoli/Vredenburg in Utrecht during the festival and is also our guest in Concertzender Now on Wednesday 23 November 15:00 CET.
The Jazz Night Festival is a celebration of the diversity and quality of the current jazz scene in the Netherlands. During the festival there are performances by national and international jazz musicians in 11 cities in the Netherlands including Wageningen, Nijmegen, Maastricht, Utrecht and The Hague. In addition, there are film screenings, book presentations, photo exhibitions and jazz DJs.
The musicians taking part include Harold Lopez Nussa Trio, Wayne Krantz and 2x Salvation, The Sun Ra Arkestra, JD Allen and Bart Wirtz. The complete programme can be found on www.nachtvandejazz.nl.
