Thema on Wednesday 27 September at 20:00 CET is part 2 in our mini-series about the American composer Lou Harrison. Lou Harrison (1917-2003) would have been 100 years old this year. He was both a pioneer in the field of world music and a gifted and melodic composer.
This mini-series consists of two programmes. Part 1 was broadcast on Wednesday 22 August and contained compositions that were inspired by classical music. Part 2 looks at his passion for gamelan music.
