Maria de Alvear is a Spanish-German composer, who lives and works in Germany. She studied with Mauricio Kagel at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Cologne and graduated in 1986 from a course in new music theatre.
In the programme Portamento on Thursday 27th May you can hear a number of performances of her work.
