On Saturday 5th June Misha Mengelberg will be 80 years old. To celebrate that, on 6th June in the Bimhouse the Holland Festival is presenting a symposium called Misha's afternoon and on 9th and 10th June in the Amsterdams Stadsschouwburg the Opera Cows, orignated by Mengelberg and completed by Cherry Duyns and Guus Janssen In this episode from News we'll be previewing this with a choice of the rich repertoire that Mengelberg composed and improvised.
