Oliver Knussen, 12th June 1952 – 8th July 2018

tue 17 jul 2018

Contemporary 20th June 17.00.

Oliver Knussen was regarded as one of the greatest British composers of these times. His compact music is rich, full of fantasy, humorous, clear and transparent and very engrossing. There are very good reasons why his concertos for violin and horn are played so often. He was a regular guest of Dutch orchestras such as the Residentie Orkest, the Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Radio Filharmonisch Orkest and the Asko/Schönberg Ensemble. In Contemporary attention for Knussen as conductor and composer.
