A new programme in our series Pentatunes is broadcast on Friday 7th November from 14.00 to 15.00 CET. Hugo de Groot plays music from three CDs on the PENTATONE label and these CDs can also be won in our Pentatunes competition.
The CDs that are featured in the programme are a complete recording of Wagner's Ring conducted by Marek Janowski, the complete piano sonatas by Beethoven performed by Mari Kodama and finally the complete (but less extensive) works for violin and piano by Schubert performed by Julia Fischer and Martin Hemchen. All the CDs are in the SACD format.
