Trombonist Kid Ory werkte in de jaren Twintig in Chicago met King Oliver, Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton en Johnny Dodds. In deze uitzending de laatste opnamen uit deze prachtige reeks die eindigde in 1928. Ory keerde daarna terug naar Californië en verliet voorlopig de muziek.
