Recording of the concert of Davis/Kleefstra/Kleefstra in the Havenkwartier in Deventer and of DJ Sniff in OT301 in Amsterdam.
The Kleefstra brothers performed in an edition of Ass-crack stage-hack once before. These concerts which are organised by Esc.Rec label boss Harco Rutgers take place in the Havenkwartier in Deventer at a regular basis. During the previous stage-hack they took care of a unique concert together with Machinefabriek (Rutger Zuyderveldt) and Soccer Committee (Mariska Baars). That was an unforgettable night. It is for good reason that esc.rec. invited them again for an exclusive performance. This time Frisian poetry by Jan Kleefstra and the soundscapes of guitarist Romke Kleefstra were combined with the mesmerizing sound of bass clarinet player Gareth Davis.

DJ Sniff (Takuro Mizuta Lippit) is DJ and turntablist. He creates partly improvised compositions with self developed hardware and software tools. The set which can be listened to in this programme was recorded in OT301 in Amsterdam.
